ABOUT
Surrey Tennis Membership formalises the relationship between venues, schools, local authorities and the county association, creating a clear, consistent and mutually beneficial partnership.
In recent years, the way clubs and organisations register and fund tennis at a county level has changed. While registration now sits with the LTA, Surrey Tennis continues to play a vital role in delivering competitions, development pathways, guidance and support across the county. Membership ensures this relationship is clearly defined and sustainably supported.
By becoming a Surrey Tennis member, venues and organisations are formally connected to the county network, helping to strengthen governance, communication and long-term planning. In line with several other counties, a small annual membership fee has been introduced, scaled to reflect an organisation’s size and status. This helps establish a legally binding relationship with Surrey Tennis while enabling the continued delivery of county-wide services and benefits.
Most importantly, Surrey Tennis Membership supports the growth, stability and future of tennis across Surrey, ensuring venues and organisations are part of a joined-up county structure working towards shared goals.
