Your venue will be able to compete in our Surrey competitions such as the Wilson Surrey Leagues, Mixed Team Knockout and Surrey Schools.
SUPPORT
Your venue will get access to support from our office team on all subjects including diversity and inclusion, competitions, coaching and more.
LOANS
You can participate in our loan scheme and apply for loans currently up to a value of £25,000.
Why Join?
Previously, clubs—including schools, local authorities, and other organisations (hereafter referred to as “clubs”)—paid their registration fees directly to individual counties. A few years ago, this process changed, with clubs now paying their fees to the LTA, which then redistributed an equal amount to the counties. However, under the current LTA funding structure, the fees paid to the LTA are no longer directly linked to the funding allocated to counties.
As part of this system, clubs automatically become members of their County Association—Surrey Tennis in our case—when they register with the LTA. To formalise this membership and ensure a clear and structured relationship, there must be a mutual exchange of value. In line with several other counties, we are introducing a small membership fee based on each club’s status and size. This will help establish a legally binding relationship with Surrey Tennis while also providing clubs with a range of benefits, as outlined below.
