Previously, clubs paid their registration fees directly to individual counties. This changed a few years ago, with clubs paying the LTA, which then redistributed an equal amount to the counties. However, under the current LTA funding arrangements, the fees paid to the LTA and the funding allocated to counties are no longer directly linked.

As counties, we can identify which clubs have paid their LTA fees, but we no longer have a direct relationship with our members. To address this and align with several other counties, we are introducing a small membership fee based on club status and size. This fee will formalise the relationship between Surrey Tennis and its members, ensuring contractual clarity and providing access to a range of benefits,.
