What is the County Championships?

The County Championships is one of our flagship events. The County Championships provide competitive opportunities for players of all standards.

The Surrey County Championships is a Grade 3 event restricted to players from Surrey (based on residence or county of birth) and features junior and adult events, allowing players from 8U to 100+ to take part! There are singles and doubles events and the winner of every event earns the 'County Champion' title for their age group and event.

As well as age groups 8u to OPEN, we also host a specific wheelchair event which has become very popular in recent years.

The County Championships week is the busiest week in the competitive calendar right across the Country with more players competing during this week than any other during the year.

Where is it?

The County Championships will be split between two venues: The AELTC Community Sports Ground and Aldershot Tennis Centre.

8&U, 9&U & Wheelchair

Our two youngest age groups and our wheelchair event will be competing at the AELTC Community Sports Ground in Raynes Park. This impressive venue will provide both indoor and outdoor courts depending on the weather. Players will compete on acrylic hard courts. Venue location: 216 Grand Dr, London SW20 9NB

10&U, 11&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U, 18&U and OPEN
